JPMC will accept Master Card, VISA, American Express, and Discover charge cards for payment on patient accounts.

Pre-admission
Patients will be pre-admitted whenever possible. Whatever method the patient intends to use for payment will be verified prior to the patient's admission.l
Medicaid Qualification
JPMC provides a referral service for patients who would like to apply for medical assistance through the
Department of Human Services in Oklahoma or Kansas. We will help you make your DHS application and provide follow-up assistance until your Medicaid application is either approved or disapproved. This service is provided without charge to our patients. If you are interested, please call 918/331-1104 for more information.
Compliance with this financial policy is not a condition of treatment. JPMC's guidelines are designed to help our customers meet their financial obligations. Jane Phillips Medical Center will provide services without regard to race, color, sex, creed, age, national origin, or disability.
Insurance Billing
All patients who have hospitalization insurance will be asked to provide proof of insurance coverage and to assign benefits to Jane Phillips Medical Center for each hospital visit.

A patient whose insurance cannot be verified or who does not assign benefits will be expected to pay his/her bill at the time of service or discharge.
A patient who provides insurance coverage information after the services are rendered will be responsible for any penalties assigned by insurance if pre-certification is required.
Partial Payments
Patients who have no insurance or do not have adequate insurance coverage are required to make a partial payment during the admission process. This partial payment will provide payment of all or a portion of charges that are not covered by insurance, Medicare, or other third parties. The minimum partial payment required for inpatient admission is $250.
Medicare, Medicaid, and Private Insurance
Patients covered by insurance will be asked to present their insurance identification for each visit to the hospital. Deductibles and/or co-insurance not covered by other insurance should be paid at the time of service or discharge.
Insurance Billing
Payment of your account is your responsibility. If insurance payments are not received within 60 days of the date billed, the patient or responsible party will be expected to pay the bill within 30 days following notification.
Other Professional Accounts
Hospital charges do not include fees for professional services. For example, patients may receive separate bills from the attending physician and/or other physicians for services such as anesthesiology, pathology, radiology, surgery, etc.
