Cardiac Rehabilitation

Jane Phillips Cardiac Rehabilitation offers therapeutic solutions and comforting reassurance to those with cardiovascular conditions.  The program is covered by Medicare and most insurance plans.

When is Cardiac Rehab appropriate?
Jane Phillips Cardiac Rehabilitation Program may be appropriate for you if you’ve been diagnosed with myocardial infarction (heart attack), coronary artery disease or heart-related chest pain (angina), or if you have undergone coronary artery bypass surgery, heart valve repair/replacement, angioplasty (ballooning) or stent placement.  Individuals with cardiac risk factors also may be candidates for the program.

What We Do
All patients receive a thorough evaluation, individualized exercise prescription, and education.  Patients are monitored by electrocardiogram telemetry and supervised by our rehab professionals for up to 36 sessions.  Programs are tailored to meet a patient’s needs, abilities, and preferences, and are designed to help each patient gain the strength and confidence needed to enjoy life to its fullest.

The Cardiac Rehab treatment team includes a physician/medical director, registered nurses, a registered dietician, and exercise specialists.  All team members are specially-trained to care for individuals with cardiac-related diagnoses.
