Healing the sick oftentimes requires more than medical care. At Jane Phillips Medical Center, we believe that tending to patients' minds and spirits is an integral part of recovery.
The Pastoral Care staff, serving as integral members of the healthcare team, provide the spiritual care that contributes to a holistically healthy organizational culture. They meet the spiritual needs of all persons cared for within the medical center.
Each staff member uses spiritual assessment tools designed to meet the specific needs of his/her areas of ministry. The level of pastoral care involvement is predicated on the assessed level of spiritual care need, ranging from simple to complex, of each individual person.
